Alkaline/Nicad Battery Recycling
Battery recycling protects our environment from heavy metal contamination. Batteries that are generated by households in small quantities or in large quantities from industrial facilities are in most cases considered hazardous waste and must be managed properly. What we recycle includes (but is not limited to):
Alkaline batteries, cadmium batteries, nickel cadmium batteries, lead acid batteries, lithium batteries (rechargeable), zinc carbonaire, lead acid, and mercury batteries.
**Batteries must be separated by type and poles taped for transport.
